Umm Umm good
One night as a family we decided to have a burger off to see who could make the "ultimate"
The next day we went shopping for the fixings and as a family we all made our own plan of attack, Garth and I were toe for toe with our topping but there were some difference in the amount of each topping. I love beacon he loves the mushrooms and the grilled onions we both went for the yummy perfect fresh avocado. This is what magic we came up with. THEY WERE SO GOOD

We had a really great time it was the official start of our summer vacation so now we have a tradition of "family cook offs"

The WHAT
Today as I pick up Abby from school
"Hi Mommy how was your day at school"?
"Oh it was a hard one today I was working with sick-o germs in the lab"
"Do your eyes hurt from the micrcooop"?
"NA, but the words are hard to say I need to learn some new big words"
"Mommy I want to go to the pup a weary"
"The WHAT"
"You know Mrs. H. is going to be there with all my friends"
"Ok well I think we can look at the times and see, Abby what is that place Mommy doesn't know what you mean"
"Mommy the pup a weary"
"Hunny did you get a note about it today?
"Ya sure"
She hands me a note with information on it
1) a School Pep Rally....... Ah yes this must be it! Well than I see
2) a Puppie show of some sort at the local park !!! Humm yes its clear now NOT
"Hunny I do not see it I will call Mrs. H. and ask in the morning"
"Mommy all my friends will be there you know the ones in my class, the one with spike hair, the one with brownie skin. the one with all the long ponies and the boy who gets the naughty notes. All my friends
"Ok OK OK" ( ya right what on earth is she talking about)
"MOMMY MOMMY there that is were I want to go by the movie place, Look!!!!"
"You mean the public Library?
"Ya the pup a weary.. they have book on puppies!!
As it turns out it is our school month at the local library and one night this month her class is going to try to meet up..... her little words got all tangled, much like mine do at school these days.
As you all know spelling is not my strong point... well neither is saying the names of bacteria in a oral quiz. Never the less we will be going to the pup a weary soon

Abby first day of School
Our first Day of Kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!
Abby and her teacher Ms. H. WE LOVE HER..... she sends pics to us families.. of the daily activities several times a week!!
Abby with her new friend from class playing with the Hamster car. Pandie is the class room pet. As you can see Abby is still my tall girl.
Abby had a great first day. She really enjoyed the Art class and the Music. Somehow at lunch we lost several "Glad" dishes and a nice Ice pack, but thats fine with me as long as she had a fun day. I cannot believe she is that old already where has the time gone!!!!!

Utah trip 2007
OK I know I'm really late but so is my life.
Here are some pics from Garth and Abby family reunion trip to Utah. They had a great time My favorite photos are of Abby drinking the Root Beer float. In "our" family "we" have decided to wait until Abby is 8 to have any kind of soda. It is no big deal she really dose not even ask for it. Unfortunately someone did not check with Garth and gave her soda. She has no clue what happened if you see in the photo's you can see her reaction to it all She sure did like it. I think if I tell her what happened it will upset her so for know she is soda free for a few more years. We do what we can !!While watching fireworks.............

Good Times
Hello There
Ya we are alive, Thing had been quiet around here but thing's are picking up
Garth and Abby have a fabulous trip to Utah over the week of 4th of July they had a great time visiting all the family. All of Garth sibling got together with all the kids
For weeks before they went we went over the family rules of
SUNSCREEN, HATS, BUG SPRAY, NO SODA. DRESS UP WITH ALL CLOTHS ON. SWIMMING WITH GROW UPS ONLY
Right before they left I was warned about how bad the bug were up there especially the mosquito's well the whole time up there, out late at night, dusk and even in the mountains for a hike with "No" bug spray she did not get one BITE good ha well she is back in Texas for 24 hours and gets a real bad one. Tonight, back for 48 hr she is attacked on her FACE (4)AND NECK(5) WHILE COMING IN THE HOUSE FROM THE CAR!!!
I hate the bugs here.
Garth was very good with the Sunscreen and no sun burn YAAAA !! for Daddy They went swimming everyday
They had a blast going to the movie
Swimming, eating out, bike riding, shopping, fire works, sports at the church ext...
On Monday our first day back to work Abby and I were leaving "Targeee" and we were rear-ended pretty bad. We we both pretty shaken up but other than my sore shoulders we are fine.
It happened about 3 min. from Garth's work So I called him to come right over I was weepy at this point, Abby was fine crawling all over the car ONCE WE WERE IN A PARKING LOT . ( I have a thing about car accidents ) The young lady was real apologetic and luckily had insurance. I was a little bit worried when she told me it was "Progressive" But I will say this.... they have been great. I mean, they called me every three hrs. the first day to make sure I was fine and to see if I had any questions, called late at night to see if I was in any pain. I had a rental car this morning at 8 am ( my car is totally drivable)
I called today and said I want them to replace Abby car seat and they said "Of course we will bring you the cash when we come to meet you tomorrow" I just can not say enough good things. My car will be done on Monday so get to keep the fancy new thing (only 900 miles) until than.
I need to run look back soon for some Utah pics ( OH ya a family rule was broken !!!! I will fill you in later )
