Happy Pre K Graduation Abby!!

Where has the time gone ? It feels like yesterday that I was taking Abby to MDO at school. Abby has been at her little School for 3 yrs, It is such a fabulous school. The teachers and the staff there love the children and love what they do This is what I know from the past few years !!

1) I miss Abby from the moment I drop her off. I have often gone back to the class room for one more Hug and Kiss ( ok and sometime I hide and watch her play shhh)
2) Abby truly loves her friends and teachers and considers them part of our family.
3) It is OK for Abby to be the only one on the playground with sunscreen, sunhat and sunglasses on. (everybody knows who's hat is left out there)
4) Orange juice is the WORST smell if it gets spilled in the backpack from a leaky sippy cup ( We are on our second backpack this year)
5) Some days Abby's lunch is not the healthiest but at least it is not the worst !! agg candy in a kid lunch WHAT IS THAT ??
6) You get what you pay for in education, There is a reason this school never has any opening mid-School year and hardly at registration time.
7) Being room mom is a job But you get to know all the families real quick ! You meet some wonderful friends
8) Spoil the teacher. Spoil the teacher. Spoil the teacher. We love Miss Mary !!!
9) When Abby tells me about the fire drills or the Stranger Danger drills My heart skips a beat,I tear up hearing about it, however I am so thankful for a program that has a plan and the staff who is always on top of ANY issue.
10) ABBY IS ONE SMART COOKIE lol

She has learned so much. From numbers to letters, science, math, social skills, who like who (baby crushes) who has a new pet (Big this year) to a better understanding of the love that the Lord has for each one of us. She has learned tolerance of "other girl who said". She learned along with her BFF, Beth that if you do not want the "boys from that other class" to chase you RUN RUN RUN to the swings on the playground so they do not chase you, because the boys in her class will never chase them and scare them. We learned that sandals and pee gravel are not a good mix, why we have to were short under our dresses.
Most of all Abby has learned school is a good thing, learning is a fun thing. She will be safe and othere people love her. Mommy will always pick her up on time !!! and listen very carefully on the days events in Ms Mary's Pre K class. What I have learned is there is something about seeing her at the end of the day happy, in one piece with a smile that melts away any of the stress of life. Oh ya hearing her yell "Momma" when she see me, is the best word ever!!! Love you Abby

Mothers day 2007 My first video

OK I'm a little late but here are some great pics from our trip to Canada.

This is in NOVA SCOTIA on the way to Peggy's cove. Peggy's cove is as famous as Disneyland up there. Let me just say in all my travels near and far from the US and beyond. This is the most amazing place ever!
In the first pic that is someones house and there dock (That is the At. ocean You need to look up a map to see how the little fingers on the island really work) It is so clean and fresh When you get out of you car there all you do is smile. Ya that is a nice back yard

Peggy's cove is the name of a Lobster bay POPULATION ABOUT 70. Its has a huge Light House, which is the only real working post office in the area. Really when you go inside there is a little counter and a mail lady sitting there to send of your post card which they are happy to sell to you $$. The little boat you see are just boats for the resident's that live there. There is a few LITTLE restaunts there with Minimal seating. But as will all of Nova Scotia they had plenty of lobster and Digby scollop's Yummy oh and Mussels Abby even tryed them all.!!

The Light House. The Light House sits on a HUGE formation of rocks well like a boulder. You can walk all over it Eat on it, the kids run on it.. It is so breathtaking.


We really had the bast time their The food was so Yummy. McDonald's and Subway have lobster sandwiches. The is a big Greek influence there as well The history of that is to long to Blog but there are great Greek restaurant's there. They have this Gravy they pour over fries and top with cheese it like there national dish "pountain" maybe I'm not sure. Anyway the people there are so kid friendly. When you walk into the stores and shops and other places they just go crazy over the kids At fist I was like "oh it must be nice to kids week" lol, but Garth co workers there said that is just how the people are there very into children. If you eat and embrace the culture which we did for the week they call you a NEW MARIN TIMER that is a huge complement for a tourist to be labeled. It just means you "get it" I would move up therein a minute if we could, but you know the trade acts put a damper on that. A U.S. company that has an office up there can only hire Locals to work. Garth even had to have a Local "sponsor" because he was there a month
Anyway this is getting long. If you ever get a chance to go RUN RUN RUN you will love it .

Abby's friends are taking a family trip this summer and I am so jealous They will have a great time

Nothing is sweeter than your sleeping child and there little hot breath, my heart is so full when I see her like this. I'm so thankful she is mine !!! And I am hers !!!

Abby is a real nurturer to her lovies.

Jassie of course than McKenzie and than bear. She has loveie of the day or week, that seems to change every week or two but one thing will not ever take the back seat is good ol' Jassie. He is truly a part of our family!!

  We had a great day!! This morning was Abby's first gymnastics meet. Garth, Nana and I were up early and ready to GO ! We had a bit of a drive but we made with out any problem. Abby was so excited to do her routines for all the events. Beam, Uneven bars, Vault and her favorite Floor. She was calm and really into the spirit of the games. They have them walk out as a team to the Olympic theme playing. As you can see Abby did very well She got first in every event! and all round Champion! She came home 5 with medals. Which are now decorating her room !! We are so proud of her. We are hoping that her dream of being the first 6 ft gymnasts will come true. Way to go Abby!!

P.S. Aunt Lorena it look likes you and Abby will be our world class Davis girls athletes. You both make us very proud of you sports accomplishments!! ( Aunt Lorena is a pro bike racer with a need for speed)

We love Crocs and Jibitz

Abby's new shoes !

Abby has been "n" love with these kind of shoes for about a year! I said when she is 5 she can have a pair in the summer. Well Abby's Auntie Kathleen (my aunt) and Alaina sent Abby a gift card for a new pair of shoes at Nordstrom ( We share a love of good shoes on Kids :) ) for her Birthday last month. As soon as Abby realized what the card was for she informed us that "with my shoes money card I'm going to get my favorite Crocs at my new mall". A few weeks ago Abby and Daddy were off to the mall in search for the "CROCS" They found the shoes. Daddy noticed the Cinderella Jibitz (charm) and got one for each shoe. The quest had began. Abby just LOVES her shoes she was even happy to go to the dentist in hope of showing them off. Wherever we go somehow the shoes are spoken of to all that will listen. She is now the hit of the Pre K class room. (The fashion princess of her class are all in agreement "THERE COOL AND PINK WITH PRINCESS"

Well today Abby got another white padded envelope with stickers, the true sign it is from Auntie Kathleen and Alaina, an adorable little stuffed bunny was included and MORE Jibitz, this time butterfly's and daisy flowers. Well all is good in the land of Abby !!. Right at this moment she is in those shoes with Princess Pj Why ? well they match of course chaaa ;0.
